Pastel & Polka Dots

Happy Friday! I'm finally free of all of my tests/essays, which means no more living in the library! I'm expecting life to be relatively less stressful until exams. I have my fingers crossed that I catch up with blog maintaining and reading, and I have some new ideas for Precious Polish too, including photo tutorials. I have one in the works already, but I'd love to hear your suggestions for what you would like to see :)

These were done as a quick fix during a study break. I wanted something easy to execute but also something that would make me happy to look at. I went with a trusty gradient in soft girly pastels and added fading polka dots on top.

I used American Apparel T-Shirt, American Apparel Coney Island, and American Apparel L'Esprit for this manicure. I started with the colour closest to the cuticle and then used a makeup sponge for the gradient effect. I used a dotting tool for the polka dots.

Don't forget to comment with what photo tutorials you would like to see, and have a great weekend!
