Mint Deco + I'm Now On Instagram!

Hello! This post is coming really late to you, but I've been quite preoccupied. It's now March and a new month calls for some new changes, right? I've really been experimenting with photography and I've decided to change up how I take my photos and the format of my blog posts. I'm really proud of the photos in this post and I hope you like them too :)

These nails were inspired by Magnifique Nails. I loved the bold angled stripes, so I decided to juxtapose it with a soft mint green gradient. I really love how striking these are and I'm hoping to experiment with more black and white combinations soon.

I started with American Apparel Office on my middle and little finger and American Apparel T-Shirt on the rest of the nails. I did gradients on two of the nails using a makeup sponge. I used those colours along with American Apparel Hassid and a striping brush to paint the lines.

I'd love to hear your feedback on the photos and post format, whether you like it or not! Your honesty and opinion are very important to me because I really want to make this blog the best that it can be :)

Two more things- I'm finally on Instagram (and team iPhone, yay)! Follow @preciouspolishxo for lots of nail art and sneak peeks :) Also, I've fallen behind again on blog reading but I'll try to catch up by next weekend. Thanks so much for your time!

  2. I love the new photo/blog format, it looks really good! And still very clean and easy to read. I also like how you translated it to Tumblr, although you should add a click through link so that it takes traffic to your blog. ;) This design is really nice. I think the gradient makes it more interesting.

  4. Ooh you draw your lines real neat with lots of detail. Makes the design look quite complex but it still looks good.

  5. Awesome! I've always been amazed by such crisp designs, but I'm too afraid to recreate them myself, as I have really shaky hands. Abstract suits me more :D

Love the nails, as always ^^ The pictures are great, but I likes the way they were before also. With that said, showing more than one angle is always positive. So I think it's an improvement :)
