Bordered Ruffian

Hi there! I hope you're all doing well. This has been one busy week for me but I think it's winding down now. My addiction to Instagram is still growing though, so I strongly recommend following me on there for more frequent updates! It's also a really easy way for me to see your nails and communicate with you, so send me your handles to follow too :)

These ruffian nails are inspired by the cool NCLA nail wraps by Madeline Poole. Like always, I added a gradient to the tips for added interest. Like my Mint Deco nails, the finished product is both bold yet soft. Top it all off with a reverse accent nail and you have one eye-catching manicure!

I started with American Apparel T-Shirt on my index and middle finger, and American Apparel L'Esprit  on the rest. I then used alternating colours to paint on the ruffian. When that was dry I used a makeup sponge to apply the gradients. Finally I outlined the cuticle, the ruffian, and the sides of the nails with a black striping polish.

Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday in my previous post! I'm so glad to have made friends with all of you and your kinds messages made the day even sweeter <3
