Hi! Sorry for the small absence last week- it was a busy one! I ended up wearing plain full-colour manicures all week. I finally had the chance to play around on Friday and this unintentionally American-looking manicure is the result. It consists of a dreamy pink-purple-blue gradient, typical tribal prints, and some cute stars thrown in for a little variety.
The colours I used are Essie Van D'Go, Essie Nice is Nice, and China Glaze Kinetic Candy. The tribal print and stars were done with a white striping polish.
That's all for today! Thank you for looking and have a lovely work week :)

aww this is cute, I love the mellow pastel colors
ReplyDeleteLooove the dreamy color palette of this one - the stars, tribals and gradients are the perfect complement to the colors I think! Like dreamy summer vibes.
ReplyDeleteYour tribal design came out great! And I love the soft, pastel shades you used. :-)

ReplyDeleteI LOVE this. I have been such a big fan of yours for like ever x
ReplyDeleteyour blog is amazing! i've been attempting some striping designs, but my technique seems to be off. what length striping brush do you use? and do you dip the entire length into a blob of nail polish or just the tip of the brush? thanks, and hope you're having a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Yuka! That's a good question! The striping polishes I use have medium length brushes, maybe about 2cm. I dip the entire brush into a bottle of polish and always wipe the excess off on the bottle neck. Make sure to do this well because sometimes a drop of polish will form at the top of the brush and quickly slide down to the bottom, resulting in a blob of polish on your nail. Less is always more because you can always go back and darken your lines with a second coat :) I hope this helped!
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks, Sonya! That means so much to me :')
