Hello! I feel like I've been a bad blogger. I'm really behind on replying to comments and commenting on other blogs. I realized that this lethargy is applicable to basically everything going on in my life. I'm just avoiding everything, pushing it all away to deal with at a later date. This is starting to sound like a diary (which I am also behind on) but I felt like I owed you some sort of explanation! Hopefully this all passes soon, fingers crossed.
Anyway, I really like today's manicure: a pattern of bright flowers with some sketchy leaves. I was a bit iffy about it at first but by the end of the process I was very pleased! It's different from my usual but I'm looking forward to trying some similar looks soon.
The base here is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. The flowers were made with a dotting tool and China Glaze Kinetic Candy, American Apparel Neon Orange, and Essie Lapis of Luxury. The leaves were freehanded with a black striping polish.
I hope you're all doing well!

ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely adorable!! How do you make the flowers? I it just like a tiny paint brush orrr?

ReplyDeleteHaha, thank you again. I really appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kayleigh!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I believe I just used a dotting tool. I made one dot and dragged in inward, then did the same thing with another four dots, connecting them in the center of the flower. You can definitely achieve the same look with a small paint brush though! Tooth picks/bobby pins might also work!
ReplyDeleteWow these are amazing! I have to include this in my blog I hope you don't mind! It's http://chunkyjunkie.com/blog/5-exciting-nail-art-ideas/ thank you thank you! :) CJ x
